We use a variety of woods. Ash, Cherry and Mahogany. All of our woods come directly from the saw mills so it arrives in full thickness with a moisture content of 6-8%. This is what fine quality furniture is made from.
The wood is then taken through various milling procedures until it is finished to 13/16". This allows us to use "mortise and tenon" construction for a stronger joint which will last for years under extreme use. Many other companies start at 3/4" thick and ends with a product that is 1/2"-5/8" thick.
Certain parts are fabricated on our overhead router such as our diner tops. This also allows us to customize special orders. All of our "solid surface" diners tops are fabricated this way from 12' sheets.
Some of the legs we use for our diners along with our bed posts are turned on our CNC lathe. By manufacturing our parts "in house", strict quality control, makes each part perfect for a perfect fit when assembling.
Our crate panels, diner tops, and large tops are glues under even pressure in our glue wheel under strict climate control for maximum bonding of the glue we use.
All of our products are finished with water-base stains and polyurethanes which are safe for pets and environmentally safe.
We stitch all our pillows and cushions at our facility. This way we can assure top quality of our products
